Ambush Bugs - front view

These tiny insects are named because of their habit of lying in wait in flowers such as Queen Anne's Lace and Goldenrod for unsuspecting insects to land. The ambush bugs then seize these insects with
their long front legs and feed on them by injecting a poisonous substance into the body of its prey and then sucking out the juices. Up close, this mating pair looks more like a set of aliens from a sci fi movie!
