I wonder about even more of an exagerated panorama format to express even furhter that sense of (wide as in turn your head wide to take it all in) vastness. BTW, one of the very interesting aspects of a panorama that is around a 160 degree FOV is that matches human binocular vision which provides an most intersting "sense of being there" that is hard to achieve otherwise.
