The Southern Hawker also known as the Blue Darner, Zagnica sina (Aeshna cyanea),

Unbelievable creature, during two hours of my observations the hawker was flying all the time, no rest at all, and it is very, very fast. The Southern Hawker spends its short life in crazy flight.

Shot in flight from about 1,5m with support of monopod and flash, manual focusing, real challenge :)
It was my second approach, a bit more successful than first one.
