Findlater Castle

Moray

Dating from 1455 and the historic home of the Ogilvy family,
the remains of the castle sit on cliffs 90ft above the waves.
Only the lower parts of the structure remain as a testament to its bloody past,
of powerful lords vying for control of Scotlands destiny.

Thats a great shot of this easily forgotten castle, love the lichen pipes leading to the castle I have one with the same features.

Somehow it blends in well with its surroundings. It can't have been an easy build.
