Holy crap. It's been over a month since I've had the urge to write anything. Maybe I should change the name of the blog to "My (not so) Monthly Blog". It's not like we haven't had a lot going on, just no words to place under the photos.


Today was a big day for us. Two big events in my boys lives. This was one of them. Eli being handed a whole piece of fruit. Ok, so it's not a "big" event, but we thought it was pretty fun to watch. The whole series can be seen here. http://www.pbase.com/frsty50/eli_year_two


Eli is growing more and more each day. He's not big on words, but he makes a LOT of sound with that mouth of his. A woman in Target rolled past with her little one in the cart and looked at Eli and said, "Wow, he's a vocal little guy". Yea, no joke lady. Wanna come over for a few hours? We just put a quarter in the "jukebox". He'll play all day.


Eli is also starting to get close to taking his first real steps. He'll stand up for short periods of time, but prefers to sit and if he needs to get somewhere, he crawls. When he's ready, he'll be hard to stop.


What this kid CAN do, is EAT!! Great...he takes one skill set from his dad, and it's ingesting large quantities of food. I'm not sure where the hell he puts it, but he's gonna have to show me that trick.
