On June 2, 1976, Phoenix, Arizona, investigative reporter Don Bolles was fatally injured in a bombing that is linked to the Mafia. This is Bolles' 1976 Datsun 210, which sat for 28 years in a Phoenix Police impound lot before being put on display at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. John Harvey Adamson pleaded guilty in 1977 to second-degree murder for building and planting the bomb that killed Bolles. The bomb was placed under the driver's seat in Bolles' car.
