Harvest Dust

This is what you have to put up with when shooting combines at harvest.
I was out capturing images on the Gadd Farm for the large Kramer Ag wall calendar today.
I know this image will not be used as we needed all the combines and tractor in the shot, but this really shows
the conditions I have to work in sometimes.....It's not fun all the time, hot, dry and very dusty today...I was black after
this shoot............. LOL and it also looks like I have a ton of dust on the sensor but it is all airborne.

I was photographing four JD combines during the Colorado Wheat Harvest. I went to an area in the field where they would come over the hill. Of course, the wind change direction and the dust was ahead of the combines. You never know, what you are going to get in the wheat field.

With the blinding dust, it's a no wonder they have GPS on board. A fantastic field action capture.

Wow, that is some dust it is throwing up. The things we do for our photography are worth it in the end.
