I'm a big macro fan and I like the way that you have captured the highly saturated yellow/orange against the colours in the petals. The light was obviously quite harsh when you took the shot, and this to my eye has added too much contrast that obscures detail and caused strong shadows. I would have tried to diffuse the light. In terms of focus you were obviously working with limited dof but I would have preferred either less, to soften the background, or more to show the detail.
