Thanks, Karel. I have to agree with you on this shot and the previous shot. Neither is a favourite of mine. Both are "passing by in the middle of the day" shots, with the harsh sun as close to directly overhead as it gets at this latitude. They did, however, fit the theme, so I figured I'd run them up the flagpole and get some feedback from others.
I don't know why but I don't like this one. Perhaps it's the sickly yellow and green but I'm sure that it's a subjective response. For contrast I would have preferred to see the buildings contrasted against the water. The sky is bit bland in this one, perhaps a polariser would have helped. Looking at this shot I really want to know what is behind the photographer.
