Agent Cross (on the left) and Agent Listorama are pictured at grass-stabilized sand dunes during a lull in Cross's duty schedule at [REDACTED]. Cross is temporarily stationed there for the purpose of receiving remedial training in covert subjects. Listorama was there to monitor Cross's performance. Note Cross's field uniform: it is designed for crawling through sand, grass, mud, and surf. Agent Joe Tripod was on hand to support the camera for this documentation.
This interaction was the second for these two agents.
The first is documented in another highly-classified photo.
To avoid unnecessary panic and the resulting destabilization of Western Civilization, a sanitized version of this story has been made available for consumption by the general public. It states that Dave Beedon visited John Cross at the KOA Campground in Hammond, Oregon, during a lull in Cross's volunteer interpretive presentations at nearby Fort Clatsop, one of several sites comprising Lewis and Clark National Historic Park.
To gain further plausibility, the cover story says that Beedon was graciously housed in Cross's recreational vehicle at the campground for the three nights that he spent in the area and that this photo was taken at the end of a 6.5-mile hike to the Pacific Ocean at Sunset Beach.
