I was recently in Burlington, VT. visiting a friend whose health is not good. During the times she was resting I scooted down to the pedestrian mall on Church Street. It is very like the one in Charlottesville, VA except there are more interesting street performers in Vermont. One of my favorites was Jason who juggled, his buddy Brian who sat nearby quietly smiling, and Candy who played with her pet rat, Dulce. They were trying to make enough money to get to Montreal. I'm sure they'll make it.
