This wood-framed lighthouse was first placed
into service in 1868 and abandoned
in 1913. The light and property around it
are privately owned. A local movement
restored the lighthouse from 2001-2005.

This was taken from the Pictured Rocks
Boat tour. The island is rustic and the
best way to view the lighthouse is from
the water.
