I started my day at 5am to go snag a Maine Motorcycle tag up in South Bristol, Maine. I put on about 220 miles before 11am, securing the tag and moving it south to home. I got back and cleaned my chain as it was binding on the master link and bouncing around and making a heck of a racket. I mowed most of the lawn. I shuttled the two youngest down to my wife's work so they could go to a pool party. Then I got back on the bike to reclaim the tag that had already been moved to a Ferry service for a small lake. After that, I sort of just 'rode' for the next few hours. All told, I put on 366 miles in the two trips AND got stuff done around the house (that is the disclaimer for the wife). I broke out the iPhone a few times and uploaded on the spot. I actually uploaded this shot via the iPhone earlier, but that shot didn't have "Bike parts" in it. This photo doesn't really do justice to this scene. I set EV down two stops to get more of the sky scene in, at this point it really wasn't that dark out (not even with my sunglasses on). The weather was just incredible. Perhaps the first really great day of the year.
