20090729 - Streamlines

More difficult than I thought to get these! They're not as bright as they look and need a balance between long-exposure to create the lines and short enough that they don't just blur away to nothing. 4-5 seconds seemed to give the best results - even then "it depends".

5s f/16.0 at 17.0mm iso100 full exif

superb work...the splayed lines effectively portray the kineticism of the stream...sumptuous colours enrich the scene even further...V

Excellent result!!! I had a go at these on holiday and found it V difficult to get the balance correct, about a hundred frames and got one i liked(kind of)
