A tramp car from 1910. The picture in the background is from BP's archives in Nordiska Museet in Stockholm. Photographer is Gunnar Lundh, and it dates back to 1955. Although I wasn't born i 1955, this scene kicks up some strong memories.
Ha! Ha! My dad use to buy us kids wheels - and give us old pallets and scrap wood from the warehouse where he worked. We used to come up with some interesting designs - funny how many could not make it down the small hill in our front yard.
Thanks for the memories - cool shot Kleivis!

I like how you've managed to combine the foreground with the background to become a seemingly one image (don't know if that makes any sense) but a very well thought out composition. I love this antique derby car. At first glance, I thought that the boy in the car was actually in the yellow car. Very nice.
I love the old photography displayed behind the yellow pedal car. What a wonderful result you managed. We (my brother and I) had a pump car. It was dark blue, you steered it with your feet on the front axel and then there was a handle that you grabbed with both hands and pushed and pulled to make the car go. We could go flying down the sidewalk, at least, so it seemed at the time. I've looked for a car like the one we had, I wanted to find one and buy it. I found one once but it was up in Canada. I should have bought it anyway. Thanks for the great memory Kleivis!

Nice one, I like how the yellow of the car stands out but seems part of the background.
