Holy Cow! I want some of these near where I live - what a cool shot!

All is said already, so I just sit down, I contemplate it and I dream I'm having a stroll in this beautiful landscape. Thanks for sharing. endika

Those rugged mountains make for one great backdrop to the yellow field flowers. This is really a very beautiful shot Collin!

This scene is so lovely, with the soft haze and the foreground gold. The winding dirt road looks worn by generations of tractor wheels. My kind of country!

Almost 50,000 actuations? That's impressive - the camera sure did earn its keep and I'm glad to hear that it might be able to keep going. I'm not certain how many shots I've taken with mine. Now you have another camera to work with, and post more wonderful entries, so all's well that ends well.

The format fits the composition very well. And the three layers of yellow, green and blue really stands out.

Thanks For the comments guys. The E30 arrived today so well there are silver linings. I did however have a go at the E-510 ( I thought its buG##ered anyway) and i think the problem might have been sticky pollen from the cranola fields on the shutter ( I changed lenses) I cleaned it with a bud and it seems OK but I will never trust it and it had 49,825 acctuations on it.

Just lovely. I'd be tramping through the flowers, jumping the gate, and running (well, moseying) across that huge field, just breathing the clean air and ignoring work! Sorry to hear about the 510 :-(

Really like the layers of colours, neatly dividing foreground, middle and distance.
Lovely balance to this.

This just wants to make me take a deep breath and go Ahhhhhh! Such a refreshing sea of green and yellow. Lovely mountains in the background. A very revitalizing image.
