Through the broken windows, we saw offices looking as if the employees had just stepped out. There were ledgers, files of various types, office equipment, even some Christmas decorations on this desk. I was surprised that the place hadn't been vandalized, as it would have been easy to get inside. J & L Steel had last owned this building, and apparently when the company closed down, they just walked away from everything.
