Because of it's cost,, it was the only concrete shed the GN Railroad ever built.. Started in 1915 , it served only a a few years, as the GN started using their new 7 mile long tunnel in 1929... This shed in at the area where 96 folks lost their lives in a massive avalanche in March of 1910
