Aww a nice little snake in the garden. I right away thought of all the snakes I and my brother lost in the house while growing up LOL I really like the tight shot you took. The beads of water on the leaf just make the whole scene look so full of life.

I really like the abstract quality imparted by moving in so close.
We don't have anything like that in the UK - are they harmless?

A ribbon snake? Looks like a grapevine tenant (can you imagine Eve noshing on a bunch of grapes instead of an apple?). The tiny droplets on the leaf and the fine details of the scales make an excellent combination.

Slitherin' serpents, Batman! What's a garden without 'em? Great definition of the scales and water droplets.
