It's now July 21 and I'm just now getting around to posting these few pictures. This week end was supposed to be dedicated to chores, but I had to get out for at least half a day. I thought there still might be some Rosebay Rhododendron blooming in the higher elevations, so I headed up to the Parkway and Hwy 215. There are a couple of smaller waterfalls on bubbling Spring Branch on the left side of 215 north, so I made that my first stop. This is the lower waterfall. There was a little rhodo bush, but not exactly what I had hoped for.
