Watched Mr Cottontail cut this flower down in the garden, he did not eat it so it came in the house for a photo session...

Absolutely perfect image! I came into the gallery to see the carnations but this image leapt from the page and I had to come here first. This is so perfectly done. Love the soft light, sharp color and details, and the composition is outstanding.

On a rare occasion I'll bring a flower into the house to enjoy the luxury of a controlled environment; this is a spectacular and delicious example of why I refer to it as a luxury ;-) The lighting and PoV are just stunning and the composition, including the background triangle inserting itself at upper right, is perfect for a blossom close-up.
