Just a smile

Buffy caught me.
It was just a smile.
Just a happy person.
Just a happy day.
Just a happy life.
We were just out having fun.
A wonderful day at the water.
We had just had lunch.
Just walking around looking.
I could describe the events.
Sure, walking and talking.
A nice long drive on the way.
Talking to people and seeing things.
Hugs shared on the shore.
And yet you still would not know.
You would not know how it felt to me.
I could use a thousand words.
It would still lack the real flavor.
Maybe my smile can tell you.
For this is a happy smile.
This day was more than the sum of its parts.
If you wonder, just look at me.
I'm freaking glowing.
