Delphi, Sterea Ellada

a small town perched on the side of a steep hill, modern Delphi is largely devoted to accomodating tourists visiting the ancient ruins nearby...although it's main street is packed with hotels, restaurants, and souvenir shops, still the village has a certain charm

Yes, the modern Delphi has considerable charm. I was beguiled by it, but perhaps that is because of its nearness to the original site which I had long wanted to see. Lovely night shot. V
