We went hiking again today. This time it was at Cascade Head. Again, the weather was pleasant. This hike is about 4 miles round trip with a vertical of about 500 feet. Not bad. When we got to the lower outlook, Ginny wanted to go on to the upper, but it was clear that Susie was not ready for that challenge. Back at the car, Ginny decided that we needed to go hike on the beach at Neskowin. My loyal readers might remember that I have commented previously about my attitude toward the beach. But I went anyway. We tromped around for a little while and I decided that I had enough. I gathered up Itlao and we went to the only store in town for refreshment. We sat outside on a comfy bench and enjoyed the moment. The girls came by and didn't see us. It's not that we didn't want to be discovered, honest. They thought we got lost. Yeah, guys don't get lost. Anyway, they found us just as we depleted the contents of our beverage containers and then we were off (finally) to find some dinner.
The man on the right seems to be trying to distance himself from the man on the left. I can't blame him---those huge sunglass lenses suggest an anti-social attempt to hide something.
