Every year I have to work the 4th of July parade. The only bonus
is that I can sneak away and watch for a while with Becky and the kids.
My mom was also in town so we got to sit and watch along with my Sergeant,
John McGrath. I guess if you're going to have to work on a holiday,
this is the way to do it. At least they let me keep my vest and helmet
staged in our truck instead of on like last year. That makes for a HOT
day.
