The moon!

I know its not an insect for my July's insect month but I took this on the same day as i noticed the hundreds of insects on my hedgerow!
So just maybe the insects are run by the moons phases as I havent ever seen as many insects in 1 location before!

Great shot Cazi. I saw a prog on telly the other day about the moon landings, fascinating stuff, and it seems incredible that we haven't been there for something like 35 years now... would love to experience a modern-day moonlanding via the net etc, it would be like being there!
