stormy weather - billie holiday (brent)

Ted koehler / harold arlen

Dont know why there's no sun up in the sky
Stormy weather

Since my man and I aint together,
Keeps rainin all the time

Life is bare, gloom and misry everywhere
Stormy weather
Just cant get my poorself together,
Im weary all the time
So weary all the time
When he went away the blues walked in and met me.
If he stays away old rockin chair will get me.

All I do is pray the lord above will let me walk in the sun once more.
Cant go on, evry thing I had is gone
Stormy weather

Since my man and I aint together,
Keeps rainin all the time

The amber light and mistiness are just fabulous. One can almost feel the weather system closing in. I can imagine Billie H. lamenting her lover's absence, in a voice as moody and alone-feeling as this bridge in the night.

Great light and atmosphere! You managed to achieve an original view from this so well known monument, I like it a lot! endika

Nice atmosphere here. I agree with Goffen and would crop up to lose that walkway at lower left. Just a thought.

Great stuff, the road lights painting the clouds is just great, perfect for the lyric.

The coldes winter I've ever experienced was the summer in San Fransisco (or something like that), said Mark Twain. This fog can create stunning photo opportunities, and you managed to catch the bridge in a precious moment. This bridge is slightly more famous than Goffen's bridge.

I love your bridge Brent !

I guess this one from now on will be known as "Brent's Bridge" :-)

I think i'd crop out the lower part and bring the image back to 4/3 ratio though.
