Neighbourhood Watch Scheme

Isle of May, Firth of Forth, Scotland

A loose colony of these birds nests in rank vegetation near the centre of the island.
Many sharp eyes keep a watch out for danger ......but this is a gull colony & you always have to keep one eye on your neighbour!!!

This is a Lesser black-backed Gull (Larus fuscus).
