In Da Hood

The legendary Lewis Morris building is the star in this shot,
a view from the Mt. Eden section of the Bronx. It's the tall 'yellow'
building, a huge structure with 278 units. It was a pretty ritzy building
in its day. My parents lived in this building for a short time, then moved to a
nearby apartment. I lived in this neighborhood for quite some time. I would not
recommend "sight-seeing" in this area, lol, but I still get a sense of nostalgia
whenever I'm in the area. However, despite my attempts to reconnect with the past,
I have to say that the old saying is true: "You can't go home again."

Thanks for sharing the memories. I love the square cropping and the compositions of the cables to draw the view to the building. BV
