(Male Ruby-throated Hummingbird)

And totally unexpected~ There I was, on a long distance phone call,
and this little gem flew past the window and to the feeder. Ever try to focus & shoot,
head tilted, while holding a small telephone between your ear & shoulder?
Not easy...with a heavy camera & long lens... This might have been a better shot
if I'd been prepared. To add to my torment, after he finished sipping nectar,
the little guy hovered by the window as if to say 'here I am...too close for you to take my picture!' :)
