Friends of Harvey,

Harvey passed on October 20, 2023 at the age of 93. Although confined to a wheelchair in recent times, Harvey still visited his garden and with Louise, his wife, drove around to take photographs from the car. His camera was never far away. When he served as Director of Research at the Mt. Diablo Unified School District in Concord, CA, his photos were on display throughout the District offices, school offices and the homes of friends. He spent a lot of time traveling, especially in Canada.
He loved photographing wildlife and flora. Although self taught, he was a master photographer. I treasure the many hours we spent in the field looking for that perfect photo. It was an honor to help manage his Pbase site. I will miss him dearly. Ken Duckert
