I began to realize that bear are very curious creatures, always touching and chewing what's around them. The existing cabins are sided with 3/4" plywood and then covered with 2"x8" boards. The cracks are covered with 1" battens. When a bear tears up a 1" batten on the corner of the cabin, it is replaced with a new one.
