At death's door - heavily parasitised Early Bumble bee (Bombus pratorum)

As can be seen, this individual was heavily parasitised by mites and was eventually driven from the nest by it's kin. It lingered around for a couple of days, repeatly trying to gain entry to it's former home, but to no avail. It died soon after. The mites have been collected and sent for identification.
