Day 86 (5 hours)

Threw a coat of Rustolium Flat Black (how original) on the back side of the patch panel after final fitting.

The notches cut in the flange are there to clear the stiffening bead on the seat riser. The problem with them is that the floor part is easily bent and has to be firmly attached to the seat riser to keep floor from bowing.
