Wat leuk! Ik meende de kerk al te herkennen op de thumbnail. Mijn moeder heeft hier gewoond. Een typisch Nederlands tafereel. Mooi om te zien.

Interesting perspective. I love the tones both in the cemetary and the church building. There's a message to be had and perhaps the writing is in turning away from the crowd as seen in the graveyard : ) It's interesting that I found your galleries. My great-grandfather immigrated from Netherlands and shared the same name. He had 5 duaghters and still managed to live just shy of his 104th birthday. In his later years while attending church he would sometimes unplug his hearing aid and stand up and recite poetry or such. That probably isn't a bad thing for a gentleman of long years but none in the congregation could understand Dutch : ) Such is life
