Bombus pratorum on cornflower.

I am so lucky this year to have many bumblebees in our garden, they are fighting a long fight against mites and pollutants, so its a real pleasure to finally see bees in larger numbers this year!

Yep bees seem to be back with a vengence this year, and it is so good to see :) Perhaps they go hand in hand with the profusion of wild flowers this year, although I'm not quite sure why that should be! Anyway, lovely photo of this little bee.
