It's ironic that they're called laughing hyenas when they're capable of such solemn, thoughtful expressions.
I know, I know, their other name comes from the giggling vocalization they make; I'm just being a contrary cuss.
This really is a "perfect moment" sort of photo, and given the focal length of the lens and wide aperture—is f/5 the maximum for the lens?—you've got some damn steady hands to go with your fine eye!
