Little Blue Heron at San Carlos Bay: Bunche Beach Preserve

Story Behind the Shot:
Upon my first visit to this surprisingly accommodating venue on the Great Florida Birding Trail,
I was crawling around the waters of the preserve to find this Little Blue Heron at rest which is unusual
for the Little Blue Heron and Reddish Egret species which I've since found with predictability in the waters there.
The birds are typically extremely animated in their hunting for a meal. Staying low in the seasonally
cool water, the bird allowed me surprisingly close to take its portrait.
