Labor started on Tuesday evening. Delivery was Thursday at 2:03PM. We spent two long nights at the hospital. Bonnie went into the hospital on Tuesday and was in labor all night with no progress, but lots of hard contractions. Given the option of inducement or going home, she chose to go home and rest up. We were all back at the hospital on Wednesday night. This time she had an epidural and had a much easier time. She was able to sleep off and on through the night. Her room looked like a slumber party. There were five of us holding vigil with her on one roll-away bed, a couch and a recliner. We all felt like family by the time we were done.
