This fills up beginning with the spring thaw and is usually flodded through the summer. It is a tributary of the main river. We have noticed that this scene is becomming more common lately.

This shot is gorgeous in terms of its tonal range. But the absent water does not bode well for the future. Someday, water will be the "new oil". Those who have it will fight to keep control of it.

Is the water now chronically low like this, or is it more of a seasonal thing? Either way, you've captured the water's loss quite effectively, Carlo.

Another very good idea for the theme. Also a very nice shot taken from great angle to stress how low the water really is. Nice one!
