Spectacled Common Guillemot (Uria aalge)

Isle of May, Firth of Forth, Scotland

Not a different species but simply a colour variant of the Common Guillemot.
This "spectacled" morph increases in frequency in the more northerly colonies.
There is also a Spectacled, or Sooty Guillemot (Cepphus carbo)-a species of the North-west Pacific.
