Those are ominous trees against a well-done sky. The hole in the middle is placed nicely indeed. The joyous people running toward an expectant crowd say something else. There are two moods in this photograph. Can you present them separately? As they are, I don't know what to think. It's conflict, but not enough conflict to be horror.
