We were delighted to see that the sandhill cranes had two new babies.
They are so cute! The parents are very protective of them, Dad is in
front, Mum behind, and the other baby is hunkered down in the grass
out of sight.
Sayer kindly let me use his 1D as the light was so bad when we arrived
at the park in the early morning, that my 40D would only have been
able to produce horrible noisy high ISO images...... :(
