This was originally a wooden bridge but
it burned down. It was replaced with a
Iron bridge which requires lots of upkeep.
It is still in use by fright trains. On
the Eastern end a person can walk along
the right of way to the end of the bridge.
It is only wide enough for a train, so
signs are in place warning of a penalty
for walking out on it.All open work, so
walking would be very difficult. I have a
friend who has driven a train across this bridge.
