While flying to Cold Bay in a Reeve Aleutian Airways DC 6, I leaned over another passenger to see the terrain. It was leveling out by now, having been much more mountainous since leaving Anchorage. After seeing the awesome wilderness below for most of those miles, I was convinced that there were, indeed, unexplored areas of Alaska.
