Parkway Partners planted live oaks in the median to replace all the trees that were killed by the water from the broken levees. My great-grandchildren will see these mature, hopefully.
When Holy Cross began building the new school here there were hardly any people who had returned after Katrina. Today, I found it more populated, although I know that most of the vehicles in the street belong to the construction workers.
