At about 10:00 pm on our last full day at Mozhovoi, I climbed a small rise and looked back at the saltwater lagoon where we had camped the first night. We were now camped near the lake where we had been dropped at the beginning of the trip. The sun was over my shoulder and was about to set. This scene is just to the left of a photo that I took showing two bear trails. That photo shows a large freshwater lake to the right. A stream from the lake crossed the landscape and dumped into the lagoon. It was Saturday, Memorial Day.
