Highway Hunter

Town of Menasha, Wi

We spotted this red tail hunting along the highway. We were able to pull over and get quite a few shots of him. He was very intent on hunting and really didn't pay any attention to us. It was also quite windy that day and he was hanging on to that branch pretty tight.

Looks like a pretty thin branch to be on. Our Red-tail Hawks like the light poles on the expressway where they get lots of food from the median strips. Great capture.

Beautiful sharp shot Tammie. It must be swaying a lot sitting high up on that smallish branch.
