Since yesterday's shot was a floral theme and I more than established the fact that I have zero botanical genes in my system, I figured what better way to prove this then to take yet another photo of a flower. It had nothing to do with running out of time for a PaD shot today (and oh what a beautiful day it was). I will count this session as a bit of a learning session, especially during Post Processing as the image I was about to post wasn't quite the same as the image that is seen here. Since the subject was nearby and movable, I decided to grab it and compare it to the monitor. The color was pretty far off. It was this sick blue color, nothing like the purple that the flower actually is. I assure you that the image you see here (should you have a semi-calibrated monitor) is a correct rendition of the actual flower. I cannot, however, tell you what kind of flower it is, other than one that is in a vase. My daughter received this yesterday for participating in a rendition of "Treasure Island". She was in the chorus and played the bongos between each scene.
