The WaterGarden series is about seeing, seeing into,
seeing through rather than seeing around.
When something obstructs our visual space,
is 'in our way', so to speak, we try to see around it.
WaterGarden shifts attention from what is beyond to the obstruction.
And it moves from the concrete to increasingly abstract
and constructed representations of water and garden.
